Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Electrician Suite. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Effective date: June 30, 2026

1. The service

The Electrician Suite provides software tools for trade and contracting professionals, which may include job and project management, scheduling, trade calculations (such as electrical load calculations and panel schedules), documentation and photos, quotes and estimates, invoicing and payments, a client portal, finance and bookkeeping tools (such as expenses, the general ledger, statements, and tax-related reports), and messaging. Eligible accounts may also operate a branded (white-label) marketing site. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time.

2. Tools are informational — not professional advice

Calculations, code references (for example, NEC values), tax, finance, and bookkeeping outputs, document templates, and any automated or AI-assisted suggestions are provided for convenience and information only. They are not a substitute for the judgment of a licensed electrician, engineer, or contractor, the approval of the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ), or advice from a qualified accountant, tax professional, or attorney. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs, for any work performed, and for compliance with applicable codes, permits, and laws before relying on them.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, for any team members or sub-accounts you add, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the service or attempt to access data you do not own or are not authorized to access.
  • Do not upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or malicious content.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or circumvent the security of the service.
  • Do not use the service to send unlawful or unsolicited communications.

5. Your customers' data and communications

When you use the service to manage your own customers — storing their contacts, sending quotes, invoices, and messages, or granting portal access — you confirm that you have the right to do so and that you will provide any notices and obtain any consents required by law. You are responsible for the content of communications you send through the platform. We process this data on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions, billing & payments

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing page. You authorize us to charge applicable fees and taxes through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). Trials, if offered, convert to paid plans unless cancelled beforehand. You may cancel at any time; cancellation affects future billing periods and does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid, except as required by law. When you collect payments from your own clients through the service, those payments are processed by the payment processor under its terms, and you remain responsible for your own pricing, taxes, and remittance.

7. Data and content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, store, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service for you. You may export your data and may request deletion of your account; deleted accounts are recoverable for a limited window before permanent removal, except where longer retention is legally required.

8. Third-party services

The service relies on third parties — including payment processing, cloud hosting, email and messaging delivery, and analytics. Your use of features that depend on these services may also be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

9. Intellectual property

The service, software, and The Electrician Suite branding are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our branding without permission.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation or output will be accurate or fit for your particular use.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Electrician Suite will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or to protect the platform and its users. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; data deletion follows our retention and recovery practices described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to the service and these Terms

We may modify the service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date; your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless required otherwise by applicable law.
